How do I sign up for a Glow account?
In order to have a Glow account, users must purchase one of our Analysis packs or Research Tool Kits.
When will I receive my Analysis Pack after purchasing it?
Our Analysis packs are available for instant download online on our portal when you purchase it. Log in to your account to access this.
What format does the Analysis Pack come in?
The Analysis Pack will come in a PDF format which is downloadable online once you have made the purchase.
What methods of payment can I use?
We accept credit card payments which can be done on our website.
I was charged incorrectly for my product or service, who can I contact about this?
For billing inquiries please contact us and we will actively work with you to resolve your issue.
I want to close my Glow account, how do I do this?

How do I set up an account with Glow?

How do I log into my Glow account?

I have forgotten my password, how do I reset it?

Can I add another user to my Glow account?

How do I update my user and business details for my Glow account?

What is the difference between an Image and an Icon in the Survey editor?
An Image on the Survey will be what is displayed on the actual survey that is deployed.
An icon is a customisable feature which shows an internal picture that is displayed alongside each survey in your Surveys list.
What Image should I add to the suvrey introduction page?
Typically a logo is used however, you can add any image you prefer. You can test the survey to see how it looks and then update it again until you are happy with it.
I recently signed up for the Glow platform, how do I get started on building research projects?
Don’t be afraid of an unfamiliar platform! Glow offers a user-friendly interface that allows you to easily get the results you want. We also provide tips on the platform to help you get started!

I recently purchased one of Glow’s Research Tool Kits, how do I start using it?
All our tool kits come with its own guide on how to get started. Additionally, we offer an initial free 8 hours of support to help you and your business get a kick-start on finding meaningful insight.
However if you are looking to have a more specific or customised approach, refer to our Services page to see how we can assist you with your projects.
How do I edit my surveys?
To edit a survey, simply log on to the Glow Platform and click on the ‘Edit’ icon on any survey you wish to make changes to.
Can I start working on a survey and finish it later?
Yes you can, simply save the survey and it will be listed under ‘Drafts’ for when you are ready to get start again.
What can I edit after my survey has gone ‘Live’?
Once a survey has gone ‘Live’, there is a limited number of changes a user can implement. Hence, it is important that you have checked through your survey to ensure you have the correct elements you need.
However, a user can still:

- Add a question
- Re-order a question
- Change the title on questions
- Add, hide or reorder choices
You cannot make the following changes:
- Delete a question
- Delete a choice
- Change the compulsory status of a question
I want to ‘hide’ a question but cannot find how to do so?
Glow is currently working hard to make this a feature on our platform. If you do wish to hide a specific question on your survey, please contact us and we will update it for you.
If you would like to alter a specific element or something else,
please contact us for further assistance.
It is recommended that you test your survey before making it ‘Live’ to ensure that you are happy with its questions and format.
To do this, go to the ‘Surveys’ page and select which survey you wish to test by clicking the ‘Edit’ icon on the right side. Once you are in the ‘Edit Survey’ page, click on ‘Preview’ in the top right to conduct a test survey.
You will be able to tell the difference between a test survey and Live survey by the banner displayed on the top right stating ‘Preview’ – This shows that it is a test survey.
How is my survey deployed?
Glow deploys surveys through different methodologies such as stickering, panels and social media.
What is a panel?
A panel is a managed group of respondents often accessed online.
Glow has partnered with Survey Sampling International (SSI) to establish access to a larger population of participants from a wider set of demographics. This allows your business to have more targeted respondents within your category and avoids biases to then establish more reliable research and insights.
This allows you to have the opportunity to collect data from a set of participants to then develop relevant insights and make strategic decisions.
I wish to use respondents from a panel, how do I gain access to one?
Please contact us to gain access to a panel.
How do I share my survey with clients and customers?
Once you make your survey ‘Live’, you will be able to click on the ‘Share’ button at the top right which will take you to a new page.
Here you can copy a short link to the survey and share it with your clients or customers.
Alternatively, once you have exited this page, you can still share your survey by clicking on the ‘Share’ icon on the Surveys home page.
What do people get from participating in my surveys?
Glow offers rewards to people who participate in our stickering survey methodology. Each month, we draw two random winners from a list of participants who completed a Glow survey. These rewards are digital vouchers which are redeemable online.
Please ensure you enter an active email account when conducting a survey for your chance to win one of these rewards!

How long will it take for me to receive my reward for conducting a survey?
Once you have confirmed that you have received the email for winning a reward, it will take approximately 1-3 business days.
I was not able to respond back to the email in time for winning a reward, am I still eligible for it?
Unfortunately if you have not responded within 2 weeks of receiving our email, we will select another participant to claim the reward.

How do I find out who submitted a particular survey response?
We respect the anonymity of our survey respondents and hence do not collect contact details from them. To potentially find out who submitted a survey response, the respondent must have requested a follow up. Unfortunately, if a respondent does not request this, you cannot access this information
Can I delete survey responses?
Yes you can.
To do this, go to the live survey you wish to delete a response from and click to get to the Report page.
Once you are on this page, select ‘List View’ and find the response you wish to remove.
Click on that response and select ‘Delete Response’ at the top.
How do I stop survey responses?
Once live, you can stop responses by clicking on ‘Disable’ on the survey you selected.
Alternatively, you may wish to set a limit to how many respondents you want to have in your survey. Once the survey has reached that limit, it will stop taking responses.
Where do I find my results from a survey?
To view your results from surveys, simply click on the ‘View Report’ icon on the Surveys home page.
How do I analyse my data?
There are a number of ways to read your reports.
Here are some tips:

- Compare your results with your initial hypotheses
- Have a look at the numbers, what was the bigger or lowest score?
- What other numbers could potentially be relevant to your business?
- Apply filters or Compare profiles
- Try using different charts to understand your results in different ways
What is filtering?
Filtering essentially allows you to manipulate the data you have to view it in a different way.
From this, you can find different insights from the responses you have received.
Get the most out of your data by filtering – Click into a survey with existing responses and add filters in the coloumn on the left.
What is a Core User Profile?
A CUP incorporates the respondents gender, age and location. This is displayed at the top of the Report page.
What is Maps?
This feature allows you to check a respondent’s specific store that they selected or other locations with greater accuracy. Click on the map to zoom in and look at a particular region you wish to explore.
What is Word Cloud?
This feature is used specifically for questions that allow free text. It shows the main words used by your respondents which can imply significant elements about your product or brand.
What is a Net Promoter Score (NPS)?
A NPS is essentially a measurement of customer satisfaction by asking a single question such as ‘How is it likely that you would recommend our product to a family/friend?’.
This will allow you to see which respondents may potentially be a promoter or detractor. Promoters generally score 9-10 and detractors score between 0-6. We do not tend to consider passives who score 7-8.
I want to know more information about a particular product, brand or consumer.

How do I export my survey results?
To export your data from a survey into a report, click on the survey you wish to extract information from.
Once you are on the survey’s reporting page, click ‘Export CSV’ at the top right to download your information.
Can I share my survey results with someone else?
To share your results with another person, you will need to add them as a user to your account. Please refer above to Account Management & Setup on how to do this.
Alternatively, you can download your report as a CSV file and send it to them.
