Insights Manager, Melbourne

Reporting to the Head of Insights, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insights professional to join a fast-growing market research tech firm set for global expansion. Be part of an innovative team, building best-in-class research technology and help grow a new department of Insights experts.

About the role

  • Manage national and multinational tracking studies from brief to delivery
  • Assist with methodological design, conduct market research fieldwork and generate reports
  • Create dashboards and reports using market research software platforms (full training will be provided)
  • Manage key client accounts, being the key point of contact, managing relationships and delivering insights and advice as required
  • Manage studies to both internal and external clients
  • Contribute to the training and management of a growing Insights team
  • Assist Marketing team with content generation, PR and outreach activities
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a new 360 strategic marketing framework and related projects as required
  • Deputise for the Head of Insights on occasion as required

About you

  • Relevant qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in business, research, marketing or equivalent discipline
  • 5+ years experience managing agency or client side research projects across multiple teams
  • Strong understanding of the key principles of insights, marketing and project management
  • Excellent relationship building skills and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly professional attitude with a can-do ethos
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Experience using market research analysis tools and frameworks (eg Displayr, Q, SPSS)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong working knowledge of strategic marketing frameworks (desirable)
