What is Matrix Drag & Drop?
Matrix Drag & Drop is a new display type for matrix questions that allows respondents to interact with surveys in a fun, intuitive way. Instead of a Grid, Dropdown, or Carousel format, respondents can drag and drop (or click!) statements into choice buckets, making the survey process more dynamic and gamelike.

How to add Matrix Drag & Drop to your survey
Creating a Matrix: Drag & Drop question is easy.
Simply:
- Go to any survey.
- Add a Matrix question.
- Change the Display Type to Drag & Drop.
- Fill in your Question, Statements, and Choices text.
- Add Images for each statement (optional).
- Randomize your statements (optional).
- Click Save & Close.
- Go to Preview to view your Matrix: Drag & Drop question on desktop or mobile.
