Fresh filters are here. 🚀

Now you can filter your data in a myriad of ways to get to the insights in your information at warp speed. Read on.

Filter logic

Filter any way you want
New filter functionality means you now have the power to filter data using any logic combination you wish. That means you can use any combination of  ‘AND’, ‘OR’, ‘any of’, ‘all of’, or ‘none of’. :slightly_smiling_face:

Logic can be applied to any of the following variables:

  • Question & answer – responses to closed-ended questions or open-ended questions
  • Date Range – for example, responses from last month versus this month
  • Response Channel – the different data sources, for example, different panels or customers versus prospects
  • Tag – if you have created any Tags in your survey (e.g., age, gender, region, persona) then those tags will be available to use
  • Dimension – for responses captured via CRM (Custom Relationship Management) software, any custom reporting dimensions you appended to your respondent’s surveys (e.g. gender, age, region, store, account manager etc.) can be used to create filters
  • Response ID – type individual response ids to create a filter
  • Segment – bulk input a list of unique response ID’s to create a filter
  • Response type – use any of Completes, Exits, Overquota, or All Responses

This filter upgrade provides unprecedented power to users. Filter V1 provided the ability to combine ‘AND’ with ‘any of’. Now you can also use ‘OR’, ‘none of’ and ‘all of’ to enable you to be as specific or expansive in your respondent definition as you need.

Here’s a couple of simple examples to demonstrate the power of filters.

‘All of’ logic

Example – Purchased ‘All of’ Brands: G, L, O, W in P12m

The respondent must have selected all Glow brands, not just any Glow brand

‘None of’ logic

Example – Purchased ‘None of’ Brands: G, L, O, W in P12m

The respondent must not have selected any Glow brands.

‘OR’ logic

Example – Purchased Tag: Single Household ‘OR’ any of Brands: G, L, O, W in P12m

The respondent has purchased any of the Glow brands OR is identified as a single adult household

Simpler and consistent UI

While this release of filters V2 is at least twice as powerful as filters V1, the user experience is simpler and even more intuitive. But don’t take our world for it, see for yourself. We made you a little video. 👇
